Valour denied promotion as league unveils new constitution

Paddock Wood were surprisingly promoted above AFC Valour as the league unveiled a new 4-division format for the 2008/9 season.
Valour finished one spot ahead of Paddock Wood last season, but Wood were promoted to enable them to enter their reserve team into the newly created Division 3.
In total there are 8 new teams in the league, 2 of which are in Division 3 with The Numbers.

There will only be 18 league games this year, and therefore it is likely that a Spring Cup will occur in March/April 2009 to fill in the last few weeks of the season.
The first league games will be played on Saturday 6th September 2008, with all matches to be completed by Saturday 9th May 2009.
